In January this year, Kökönyösi Elementary School, High School, and Art School of Komló, Hungary started the first “inside-out” class―a study of Microsoft digital tools―with a group of 13 students. In March, another group of 10 students joined the study. With the help of Microsoft digital tools, students were able to work more independently than what they were used to.
“We first introduced the method in the subjects of German and biology with the help of one educational expert (a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert) and one of our innovative trainee colleagues,” says Agnes Vámos, Principal at Kökönyösi Elementary School, High School, and Art School. “They both completed the Microsoft School course earlier this school year, so they were thinking along the same lines. They designed the course material that the students need to process and learn at home. They used textbooks, internet resources, and videos to construct the program.”
